Any news on admissions for the regular cycle? According to discussion boards from previsous years, Columbia starts sending decisions the second week of January,

Did they deferred the deadline last year too?

I got a call yesterday from the dean - I was accepted.
Applied in the regular cycle (mid December).

Luismicub - I never got an e-mail which indicated that my application was complete, just an e-mail with the status check instructions.

I am from Israel.

The dean didn't say anything very clear about the INANCIAL AID decisions, but she did hint (I think) it will be in the next few days.

Congrats!! :) I was also worried cause I've submitted the application mid December but also never received my app complete e-mail... hope that it will be the same as with you (they've read it, but just never confirmed it).

I applied on December (just before the deadline).
My application was complete at the end of December but they never sent me an email saying that my application was under review. I don't know if it is normal.

But actually I have to admit that I am more impatient regarding NYU....

I prefer NYU since I practice IP law and they have an LLM in Competition Innovation and Information law which is very attractive for me.
And I also heard the athmosphere was much better in NYU.

Hi, I am from Colombia too! My application was complete on November the 14th, and still no news from Columbia. I think probably the current bad weather at NYC won`t help to hear from them this week
