Columbia LLM | 2019-2020 Applicants

Just got rejected. It's ironic because the rejection email arrived while I was writing to them asking for an expedited decision!

I applied close to the deadline.

Hope you the best all.

Has anyone received any letters of acceptances recently ? (within the past 2-3 days, after colleges have reopened after spring break). I'm debating whether to ask them for an expedited review or not as I have other deposit deadlines coming up- but it seems asking for an expedited review has only led to people getting rejected recently. Or conversely, I am wondering if all the letters of acceptances have already been sent out and now the rejections only remain, which are being sent out slowly..

I was admitted just last week after having an interview with them

Hi, received an acceptance letter today, March 20th. Did anyone receive news on the scholarships?

I got in this year, but was rejected last year. So, if you are reading this just apply again to the school of your choice and do not give up!

Hi, I've asked for expedited review last Friday and got admitted on Tuesday. I don't think asking for an expedited review jeopardises your chances of getting in!

Thanks for the response! Do you mind sharing if you had shared your acceptance letters to other colleges/ scholarship letters with columbia when asking for the expedited review? If so, what colleges were they (if you don't mind me asking)?

Not at all! I only applied to Columbia and Berkeley, so when I asked Columbia for an expedited review I attached Berkeley's offer (which came with no financial aid) specifying that the only other school I had applied to was Berkeley.

Okay great.. thanks! I was just wondering if their admission decision may have something to do with which college one has been accepted to already.. I guess I'll wait till end of this week then maybe try asking for an expedited decision..

Hi. For those who for their acceptances from Columbia, how early or late did you hear about financial aid?

Congratulations to everyone admitted!
For those who are certainly not going to accept the offer, could you please let them know asap so we may have a chance? Many thanks!

I think this may also depend on the timing of the scholarship/financial aid decision which haven't been sent out to many of us yet. So I guess we're all in limbo, sorry!
