Hello everybody. Still waiting for the financial aid decision. I was admitted during December. Cannot wait any longer as I really need financial assistance from Columbia. Does anybody who was admitted through early review program was informed about financial aid??????

As far as I know, Columbia has not yet responded to any financial aid application.

Does anyone know if all the decisions regarding admissions/acceptance in CLS have been done?

Not yet. They give out admission offers even as late as May.

The website says admission decisions will be made in rolling basis and the final word of rejection would be latest in late April. And so I don't think all of the 'seats' have been offered.

It has indeed been a while since we last heard of admission results. Perhaps CLS Graduate Office is on spring break leave?

Does anybody know how many seats typically being offered for CLS LLM program?

A Columbia LLM class is ideally composed of about 250 students (predominantly on the corporate/commercial/arbitration side). But it could go higher to even about 280.

Now that Harvard has released its decisions, the whole process will advance faster I think.

Hi all,
I have just received an offer from Columbia with partial tuition waiver. So happy!!
I was in the regular cycle and received both offer and waiver in the same email, so I guess admissions and financial aid are currently being decided on a rolling basis, as they say in their website.

Has anyone else who has applied through a regular basis received a decision on their admission? Does anyone have any updates from the Admissions Committee?
Thank you.

I requested for an expedite decision from the commitee since I got three upcoming deadlines (Michigan, G-town and NYU). I don't know if I will get that response soon but it's worth trying so you don't have to make an uninformed decision.

They required me to send all the e-mails or letters that were evidence of those deadlines, including prove of any scolarship or financial aid I was granted. Still waiting though.....

Thank you for sharing. I am thinking of doing the same.

I believe that if you don't have an urgent deadline is better to wait. I don't know if this "expedite decision" will negatively impact my outcome. I just needed to do it to make an informed decision. Otherwise, I would have just waited.

This is just to inform the people that have been waitlisted, I have declined my offer from Columbia. So you have one seat that has freed up! All the best!
