Hey guys,

Still no answer here.

It's killing me now that I know that some of you already have been admitted!!

I haven't heard anything from them. I've never been able to even check my application status.

You should have gotten an email from them with a link to your "MyColumbiaLLM" webpage. There, you can login and check your application status. Might be worth emailing them.

As to Luis' comment, yes it's killing me too!

On a side note, my application status says "Application is Complete". It does not even say "Application under Review" yet. What does yours say?

Hi,

I have also not yet heard anything.

FYI- My application status also just says "Your Application is Complete". The page also says that "Admission decisions will be sent by email; we will not post decisions on this status page", so it may not be useful to check the tracker on a daily basis for the admission decision.

Sylvia Polo called me and a friend last week informing that we were accepted.

We have also received the emails.

Chesnutriver,

Congrats!! Did you get a phone call too?

I'm still waiting for their response! It's really killing me!

I think Bernardot is also Brazilian. At least, that's what his profile says.

Did anybody get a rejection e-mail? Is it possible that they're leaving rejections to the end?

Hey Luis,

I just suspect they are moving through a big list. I would not read into it! I did not receive a phone call. I think depending on your timezone you're more likely to get a phone call or not (ie is it similar to NY EST). :)

I just received an email from Columbia asking me to describe in further detail my realationship with one of my recommenders. I think it's a good sign, what do you think?

I'm no expert, but I would say it is a really good sign.

They thought you are a competitive candidate and they just want to confirm/verify your credentials.

If they didn't like your profile, they would have just rejected you right away.

At least, that's how I see it!! Let us know how it goes!!

As for me, still no answer!! I'm growing restless!!

Hey guys! Congratulations to all of you who have already been accepted!

My CAS Report from LSAC was sent yesterday to Columbia. However, my application status at the tracking page appears as "incomplete" (as opposed to the other Universities to which I have applied with the same documentation). Whats weird is that all boxes (including "CAS Report", "Letters of Recommendation", "TOEFL Requirement Met" and "Financial Aid Application") have been checked out in the Requirement List. Did anyone of you had a similar issue when applying? Im supposed to receive an email stating whats missing but nothing yet

Thanks in advance!

Maybe they're still checking your applications documents.

You should receive an e-mail soon stating that your application is complete.

If I'm not wrong the first e-mail they sent to me said that it could take up to 1 week to change my application status on their website.

Don't read too much into it. My application also took some time to be updated onto the CLS system.

I got deferred as well. From what I know, it just means that you will be treated as a regular applicant.

Hey guys,

Same here, deferred too.

Do you know of anyone who got rejected?

If nobody was rejected, being deferred is probably not a good sign...
