Has anyone applied to Columbia through the early review process and was deferred to the normal procedure? This happened to me and I was wondering what chances do I have to be still admitted there. I am also wondering how many people were deferred to the normal procedure.

Applicant 2006, when did you receive the email informing about the regular cycly deferrement? I also applied early review and I haven't heard anything. I still think that you have a good chance to be admitted in the regular cycle, depending on your application in general.

I received my answer about deferral only few days ago. Best of luck to everyone!

I re-applied through early review too and I'm yet to recieve a decison. But I'm supremely confident (by the special grace of God) I'll be admitted. I really hope they get across to everyone soon to ease anxieties. But I trust CLS for the first class professional way they handle things. Its a dream school.

I haven't heard anything. Dec 31 is this Sunday so Columbia should be contacting everyone today (Friday 29th). It is an agonising wait.
