Congratulations to all who are IN! Best of luck to all who are still waiting. Sorry for those not admitted this year...
I guess it is time to start the thread that has been made customary on LLM-guide -- to share information & thoughts regarding the future studies and administrative matters.
Who is also in and opted for Columbia?

Lucinda,
Don't panic, I know that one (with supreme credentials) received his admission docs from CLS in the middle of April.
Relax and don't go insane )
Oh,
I forgot to mention that I'm waiting too.

I emailed CLS two days ago, and they said my application is still under review and that they are still making decisions by May. The wait is agonizing, but I guess in this case, no news is good news.

I'm in too. Got the offer a few days ago with $25000 tuition waiver.
Still waiting for Yale, but downtown Manhattan is just attractive!
BTW, more importantly, anyone knows how to take loans? or, if we could? Thanks!

Well V & J - I am in too & will attend CLS. Got offers from NYU, Chicago, Upenn and G'town; but HLS seems to hv sd no - hvnt hrd anythng so NY it is!
About loans: I presume ur talking of loans from CLS' side - I think they hv a preferred lender - Citi (if I remember correctly) but u require a US resident co-signer with a good credit history for availing of the facility
B/w hv u guys strted puttg together the documentation (financial docs etc) for obtaining the I-20?

Hi!
I'm also in and will attend Columbia in August!! I just can't wait..
Good luck for all of you in the waiting list... I've heard there are lots of rejections and admissions coming out until quite late, so don't panic.
And congrats to all of you who are already in!! I think we could start to share the process of choosing housing and courses which, for what I've heard, is quite long... :)
Cheers.
