Cold weather clothing?

I've been admitted to take an LLM somewhere in Boston, but I come from a tropical country practically along the equator. What clothes should I be sure to pack? I've bought a couple of good hooded sweatshirts, for example, for those thirty-degree days, as a start.

Hehe, I kinda feel like this is right up my alley. Buying good shoes (i.e shoes that are snow proof and warm) is step one. Wet and cold feet are the worst ;) Then you need a winter hat, gloves, scarf, a thick jacket (preferably one that is snow proof), i laso like to wear fleece (soft and warm fabric) sweaters, wool socks ... Jeans and sweatshirts are probably a safe bet. Good luck :D
