Im in waitlist too.... got an e-mail from badger.... im really scared what will happen.............

I just received an e-mail too. The decision will be made after April 15.

I also recevied Mr. Badger's e-mail

There has always been a lack of communication between me and Chicago. I mailed my application file in early September and I was aked to send further documents in early February...I got my "application complete" e-mail on Feb 12 and, since then, silence. I wrote another e-mail 2 days ago, begging for an update, but no feedback yet. What do you think? Am I totally wrong when I think they could also be waiting given other-applicants decisions' deadlines? thank you for any tip on this issue

Perhaps contact Professor Badger (rather than the general e-mail)? My gut feeling is that they are waiting for April 15 before they respond to you since the offers have all been released.

thank you Gregor. I sent the afore-metioned e-mail to Kevin Petty, but I'd be very thankful if you can provide me with Prof. Badger's contact...do you think I'm some sort of unofficial waitlisted?

Bumping this post up given the 15 April dead is coming up.

no news yet...officially, they have yet to get back to me with any kind of decision. I started considering myself on waiting list after I wrote their admissions office a couple of mails with again no feedback...keep you posted and best of luck

there was no way to get a reply from anybody of their admissions office...it really disappointed me...I mean, I'm here waiting to hear from you; you also claim that every kind of decision (waiting list included) will be promptly notified, and then nothing at all???at the very least I hope they're working hard on collecting final decisions made by other admitted students, so to get back to those of us still waiting...I'm lucky I can rely on NU's offer...

same thing happened to me with stanford and i recieved no replies to e-mail etc then i called turned out i hadn't included an application form with my materials (or so they say as i specifically remember placing it along with the materials so it seems they lost it) but htey never informed me of this

thanks for the messagge. It was the same I found out back in early February. Then, I sent them a new application form and they notified me that they received my courier on Feb 12. Since that date nothing happened...don't know what to think...I'll keep waiting...

any one any word from Mr. Badger today??????

not yet. just one quick tought to share with you: I think we're very likely to keep waiting few more days before hearing from dean badger...with both Duke and Cornell I have been granted few more days to make a decision after deadline was over...I do not foresee any news before Monday 27...just my opinion of course.
