Hi,
I was wondering, if I applied to the wrong law school, because my chances are not good to get accepted.
I applied to CLS and NYU (and some more, but not that high ranked universities).
I graduated 25th out of 70 (with honors/LSAC: above average) in Switzerland. But only about 15% off all students in switzerland are admitted to a higher educational institution. Further, I am working in one of switzerlands best law firms (top 5), where I also have been working as a trainee in order to get admitted to the bar exam. I passed the bar exam at first attempt, while 70% of the candidates failed to pass. Further, I teach laymen in swiss corporate, IP and tax law. I am member of the board at a building society which provides economic homes for old people. I am member of many social societies and so on...
But...my TOEFL is 98 only...
Has anyone experienced that people with my qualifications got accepted anyhow?
