I am currently a 3L at a Tier-1 Top-25 law school (But barely top 25) with a GPA that puts me somewhere near top 7%.
However, I am a transfer, and my GPA was a tad lower at my previous Tier-2 school (I was top 15% there). That's because I was working full-time during the day doing tax-related work.
I also was a summer associate a large regional law firm where I completed a few tax-related projects.
At my current law school, I have taken a number of tax classes and received an A- in them all. The rest of my classes I have earned all A's with the exception of one.
Would this qualify me for Northwestern's Tax LLM? I know Northwestern loves work experience, but I want to start an LLM immediately next year (I can't find a damn job in this market).
What are my odds of admission? How does this even work? What do they look for in LLM admissions?
Can Someone Please Explain To Me How This Works
