Congratulations to all accepted students! be ready for one of the best years of your life!!
I'm a current student in Berkeley, and I'm about to graduate this next May. If any of you is looking for accommodations or furniture, please let me know since I will be selling all of my furniture and that way you can buy a really nice apartment that will be ready for you by the time you come to Berkeley.
It is a one bedroom, perfect for a couple or for a single person that wants to have a space of his/her own.
PM me if interest, or just if you have any question of berkeley, I will be glad to answer any questions! :)
Congratulations and good luck!

Hi everyone.
Does anybody received unconditional offer (signed and stamped) after deposit payment?
Yesterday I received confirmation on my enrollment, but still it is not offer from university.
I need that offer to apply for state scholarship in my country. So guys, if anybody has such issue, lets collaborate.
P.S. I also wrote on March 30 a letter to Advanced degree program office to get support on my issue, but still waiting response from them. may be it depends on deposit payment.

I haven't received a visa notification yet. I paid the deposit on April 1. I am worried about my deposit, even though I received a confirmation email.

I'm a bit worried about their lack of communication after the deposit payment too.
I sent an email on April 1 but they haven't replied yet.

When did you pay your deposit?
Also what do you mean by "confirmation of enrollment"? Is this confirmation of payment? Because I haven't gotten anything on enrollment.

You're welcome.
The last part of the email:
" Soon, you'll see a notification about how to access the Non-immigrant Information Form (NIF) on your CalCentral homepage. In the meantime, please review some basic information about the visa process from the Berkeley International Office."

Under confirmation of enrollment I mean the official letter from university signed and stamped which includes information regarding the admission (name, student ID), terms of education (period), and other relevant information.
I will try again to call to Advanced degree program office, and hope they will take the call (hate their answer machine).
AGAIN Guys, does anybody need such letter? may be we can collaborate, so they will prepare letters quicker.

Did you guys get the email called 'Life at Berkeley: What to Expect' too?
Why is it reminding me that my deadline to accept is April 15 when I've already paid and processed the deposit...

I am going crazy because I have not received this email after paying on April 5, and receiving confirmation of wire transfer on April 6. Their phones go directly to voicemail each time.. it's getting so close to the deadline and I don't even know if they got my payment

Oh, that sucks. You probably tried it already, but maybe another department will answer. Admissions should be chaotic receiving answers, maybe you could try the Berkeley International Office, idk, just thinking of options...

Did you receive any other confirmation letter?
I paid on April 5, and received billing notice in the next day.
In April 7 I received congratulations from Berkeley and still receiving some kind of information mails (and every single mail includes reminders about deadlines and say to hurry up).
I have also contacted with a current LLM students, they said that now Advanced degree program office is overloaded by mails and routine, but nothing to worry about if you have paid deposit and accept their offer.
I have also contacted with HAAS business school alumni who is a friend of mine, he said that Berkeley has very slow internal procedures which consumes a lot of time and nerves. So, just be patient with it and just HOLD ON guys. Everything will be OK.
