It seems that when you get rejected from the traditional track, they offer you the professional track (in the email of rejection) ...

They said that they are unable to offer me a position in traditional track due to the limited number of seats, but since I would be a good fit to the program they invited me to the professional track instead. So, it is a rejection on the traditional track and an offer for the professional.

Joy, I had the same proposal in the exact same terms in my email last week but did they ask you also to do a phone interview ? That is what they did for me but I do not know what should I be prepared for.
