I thought the resumes would be circulated starting May. Did you call them/have any extenuating circumstances that would explain expediting the process for you?

I am foreigner so maybe this is the case. They told me two weeks ago after the interview.

Has anyone else heard back about assistantship? WOndering if they are still up for grabs or all gone. I haven't heard anything.

I haven't heard anything. I talked to Trudi a few weeks ago and she said the journal & some profs don't make decisions until July or August.
