Apply to a new program at Georgetown after admission denial letter?

AleksLLM

I have received an admission denial letter from Georgetown recently.
Does anybody know if it is allowed to apply to the other program after you got rejected by the one of the programs. I know that you can not apply to 2 programs at a time. But what if I apply after admission was denied?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Hi AlexLLM, I suppose it depends on the eligibility requirements of the LLM programs. If they are similar, your outcome may be, too. If they have other requirements you might fulfill them. What type of degree, GPA, work experience, personal achievements, command of English etcetera.are they looking for?

It is not about the prognosis on the likelihood of getting in. The question is whether they would allow an applicant to apply to a different program for the same year while the applications are still opened and after first application to another program got rejected.
Applying to the first program (tax) was more like rolling the dice since it is very exclusive, whereas the other program is more relevant to my experience and less competitive. Also all the requirements were fulfilled for both programs, incl. GPA and English proficiency.

You could email them directly and ask. Probably easier.
