apply LLM(TOP 50, GPA requirements)???

i am a lawyer from taiwan,but don`t begin to practice(and don`t have any other working experience)......

i would like to apply LLM(TOP 50),but here is a problem...
my gpa is very low, only 3.1........

what shoul i do ???
should i practice for few years ,then apply .......

or get into graduate school in taiwan,get better grade(ex:higher than 3.6) before applying LLM in us

please tell me what to do???THX

Dear Danchan, your GPA is a little bit low. However, if you can get good TOEFL score and have other strongpoints (you have to find them out), I believe Top 50 is not a problem (fortunately, your GPA is more than 3.0, which is the minimum requirement).

it's very difficult to say which one is more important. However, if you can only provide 1-year or 2-year working experience in future, it will be useless. Using such time, you may get a better GPA, which shall be more useful. If you can provide working experience for more than 3 years in future, it is better than another better GPA. You shall make your own choice.
