Hello all,
I am Portuguese, have finished law school in 2004 ranking 7th out of 114 students.
I have a post-graduation degree in securities law.
I am a lawyer, currently working as a legal advisor to my country's securities commission.
I will apply to a few US Universities for the 2010-2011 academic year.
Do you think I stand a good chance of being admitted in HLS?
How relevant is the LSAC report? I was rated above average. What are the other posible ratings?
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Application for 2010-2011

You have got a chance to be accepted, but it isn't great or something.
Harvard receives about 2000 applications per year for the approx. 200 places. About 600-800 of them will have a CV of the same or higher value as yours.
You have got a chance to be accepted if you put time in a good application, but certainly also apply to other law schools to spread risks.
