Anyone from India applying for 2022 Fall?

Hey guys! I figured that I need the dates for issuance of my degree to generate my transcript request form on LSAC. However my university doesn’t know of the same and won’t be able to tell anytime soon. Is it okay to put up a tentative date for the same?

Hello,

I am from India. It is possible to submit the transcripts to LSAC without the TRF if the University sends it directly to LSAC. If TRF is printed and given to the University to put in the transcript packet, it would be better. You have pretty good time for Fall 2022, so dont worry.

Also you mentioned about issuance of your degree. If it is the Original Degree or Convocation Degree, it might take some months or sometimes some years for the university to issue that. Provisional Degree certificate is enough for employment as well as foreign education.

After the original memos for the study period are officially issued, you can apply for the transcripts. Every university takes different time to issue them. Just apply at the earliest chance. LSAC takes lots of time to acknowledge receiving the transcripts, and then processing it.

All the best!
