Hello, first congrats to many who have already got their admissions:)

Does anyone apply to U of Chicago or Duke? I haven't got ant new confirming they receive my documents. I applied late(around new year) however many other schools I applied at the same period all confirmed already.

They even haven't requested my LSAC reports yet. That makes me a little bit concerned. Can anyone share their status?

You can request an interview a Duke. I would recommend doing this. I had mine a couple weeks ago and was admitted the next day.

I requested (and was granted) a phone interview.

I sent in my application to Duke toward the end of November. Received an email of "Application Receipt" on 7 Dec and they requested my report from LSAC on the same day. Nothing further since. Did anyone receive a confirmation of completeness from Duke?

I got an 'your file has been established' email from Duke on 21 December (sent application in November)

Yo mean you got "admission" after you requested and took an interview?
Is the interview a requirement to get admission from Duke?

The interview is not mandatory, but I think it would probably help. At least it got them to look at my file and make a decision on it. I was admitted the day after the interview.

re. Duke: got an e-mail stating that my file had been established in early December. They told me they would contact me again if anything was missing. As I have not received any news, I assume my file is complete.

re. Chicago: got an e-mail confirming completeness on October 21. Still waiting to hear from them.

I think we will know the decision very soon on both cases!

I emailed to both schools and got response respectively.

Duke sent me an auto-reply stating that the process will go
up to a month and suggesting me to wait longer.
Chicago replied and confirmed receiving my materials.

I sent my application to Duke in late December and I haven't got any reply yet as wether or not my file is complete. Should I assume that they have my file and they are reviewing it?

Just got the admission e-mail from Duke!!!

Got an admission email from Duke couple of weeks ago; official letter will follow.

Got a file is complete email from Chicago in the beginning od January, saying I would hear back from them in 6 to 8 weeks.

It typically takes six to eight weeks for a decision. We expect
to begin sending our admission decisions in February. Thank you for your interest in The University of Chicago Law School.

I am also anxious... They said they would start sending notices in February. Since they admit on a rolling basis and I have applied early I expect to hear from them shortly.
