Hi friends and particularly LLM students in 2009
I'm wondering if anybody who is now studying your LLM in California has secured or may have a chance to secure a job in your OPT when you graduate in May 2009?
Please kindly share your experience given the US economy is unpredictable in next 12 months.
Any jobs you can get at Optional Practical Training in California?

mauricel,
yes one can do any job but it should be related to law and law related field. It does not have to be your specialization specific so long its in legal field. And yes, when you're on OPT you don't need any visa paperwork because OPT itself is USCIS approved employment authorisation card (EAD) usually approved /granted for one year.
Any more thought people please give this thread some life.
