I'm finishing up my senior year in high school and will be going to the UK for an LLB. I'm 95 percent likely to go to Durham (already have an offer), with a 5 percent chance of going to LSE (haven't heard from them yet, but I much prefer Durham).
I know its early to plan ahead--I just like to have a general idea of what lies ahead though. As of now, I'd like to qualify as a solicitor and work with an American firm with an office in London. Ideally I'd like to come back to the states after a few years.
If I chose to pursue an LLM in the US--I'd like to get an idea of what the options would be. Obviously a first would give you a chance at any school, but what would a mid to high 2.1 from Durham get you in terms of LLM programs?
Also any other advice you could provide an American going to the UK for an LLB would be great! Thanks.
