I made the big mistake of indicating as my mailing address my home address, so (as I work in a 24/7 basis) I uncessfully tried to make FedEx deliver it at my workplace. And answering to your question: I am applying to NYU, Columbia, Harvard and Michigan as well. I also intended to apply to Chicago and (eventually) to Northwestern, but since Georgetown was my option #2 (it has a great LLM in Taxation), it is a little bit pointless to do it now.

How about you? to what universities are you applying? And what is your main field of study?

I am a little bit worried since I also applied within the early action period and however any decision regarding my application has been reached. In fact, if I check the on-line status page it is stil listed the message "Complete" and not "Decision". Hopefully all will be right and I can still receive good news, but I don't know if all the admitted students were notified at the same time last week and all those who, like me, have not received our admission notice have been placed on a waiting list or rejected. What do you guays think at this respect? I know three other friends who are in the same situation than mine. Thank you very much for your words and congrats again!!

I do not think you should lose hope and I am almost positive that not every admissions were sent last week. In fact, I think it is probable that I received my admission last week just because I applied "early" in the "early action", that is, I submitted my application in October, rather than just close to the deadline (November 15th). When they state that they are going to send admission on December 12th, they are creating their deadline, with which they must comply. Nevertheless, they can (as they did) anticipate some admissions without hurting the process. Therefore, I think you just have to be a little more patient and do not lose hope.

All I know is that I was told my file was "complete" on November 1st...but no news yet...and on the online status check it still reads "complete"....I'm starting to worry, too...but I guess all we can do is to be more patient and cross fingers.

To those as anxious as I am, georgetown's website states that they update their online status check data once every weekday. I've noticed that they usually do it around 5pm.

I was also admitted to Georgetown. I sent my application just before the deadline and also first received the fed-ex notice and the email after that. However, they keep on making decisions so I should worry too much right now.

As for the notification deadline....I am also a bit worried. I read somewhere that it would be april. But their website says nothing about it. It might be that we will have to make a deposit at some point. But they said something about creating a website for admitted student shortly. So that might provide some more information...

Anybody adimtted for the Securities and Financial Regulation Program? I applied for this program and it seems that the decissions are not still reached. On the other hand, this afternoon two friends of mine have been informed about their admission for the General Studies Program.

I wasn't quite so vervous when LLM2006 and ivan notified us of their admissions. but mila sent her applic just before deadline and has been notified of admission. georgetown received my stuff exactly on the 15th and my file was completed on the 18th. no news!

congrats you guys im glad for you but this not knowing is killing me!!! it feels like the only reason for delay is being rejected during a round of review. hopfully my file is still being re-reviewed.
