A basic question. Sorry and Thanks.

Hi,

I am a law student trying to complete my project work. I know this question is not appropriate for great minds here but still if anyone can help me, I would appreciate it.

Question is - How do I get the references in Microsoft word?

i.e.
Xyz (1)
Pqr (2)
Lmn(3)

-------------------------------------
1 - cite reference
2 - cite reference
3 - cite reference

The automatic subscripting. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

You are joking, aren't you? In any case, as you might not go to insert and there check footnote...

thanks Rej. It helps. No I was not joking. Am a humanities graduate and never had to use this feature as we use the MLA type referencing. This is my first year Law. Thanks again.
