Berkeley dropped to 9th place from 7th. I just got in. I might be the cause hahahaha.

U of Wisconsin dropped to 35th again. I just got in as well T-T.
UC Davis and Indiana made it to 23th. A big appause for them. UC davis is definitely a rising star that we need to watch closely.
And Lastly Texas made it to Top 14. I'm in as well!

There are no U.S. news rankings for Corporate/Securities Law. The U.S. News only ranks JD programs (*not LLM programs*) in:
* Dispute Resolution
* Environmental Law
* Healthcare Law
* Intellectual Property Law
* International Law
* Clinical Training
* Legal Writing
* Tax Law
* Trial Advocacy

what's the distinction between jd and llm? they're both taught by the same faculties, indeed, they both have the same classes, the rankings for the jd surely apply in their entirety to the llms too..

Most, but not all, US law schools force their LLM students to take classes with JDs. Outside of tax, however, I agree that the JD rankings are a very good proxy for "prestige" of the USA LLMs.

That said, I don't think people should choose solely on rankings. I've known two JDs who chose their schools only for the ranking in a part of the rankings where rank doesn't matter, which seemed silly, e.g., choosing #36 over #37 simply because one was ranked higher than the other.
