Which UK University to choose in case of LLM in the field of IPR

Hello,

My name is Sudhanshu Suman, an Indian National and I am an aspiring candidate for pursuing my studies in the field of IPR in UK. I have read quiet a few and have looked at the basic requirements of various law schools across UK and the courses which are offered by them and which suit me personally and would be beneficial in the future professionally. I have narrowed it down to Queens Mary University London, University of Glasgow, University of Edinburgh among the others. I have a strong inclinations to these three and its also partially because I have personally visited the latter two and seen the Universities myself. I am a practicing advocate and have been working for quiet some time in the field of IP Litigation.

Could anyone please help and suggest and advice me which among these three colleges is better? I ask this also in terms of future recruitment and placement purposes and taking everything into consideration including the teaching staff, the quality of education, ease of living and whether any extra-curricular activities are present or not?

Well Hello, I had a lot of hurdles to cross when deciding last year. I had to take into account the future job prospects if any after these, especially in UK. After a lot of research and having gained more experience in the field of Intellectual Property, I will be applying this year. I am not restricting myself with just UK this time around. I am also looking for places in Europe apart from UK and have found plenty of good places to start off from, which surprisingly offer better future job prospects than those found in UK at the moment after Brexit.

If you are planning or have already done and would have better understanding and knowledge about the same please do contact. Thank You.

Fortunately, there are many career opportunities for a legal professional who has an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law. Indeed, there are entire law firms dedicated to IP law; jobs can also be found in the legal departments of non-legal firms that own or manage artistic works, technology, or other intellectual property.
