Hi everybody,
I am actually attending the third year of a licence both in philosophy and law at la sorbonne with quite good marks. I applied for an erasmus student exchange in UK and I have good chance to spend the next semester in england. I am sure it will be a great experience.
However, student exchanges are not really well seen by french Masters (even if only good students may do one). I am considering applying for a LLM after my maitrise and then go back in france to complete my Master. I would like to know if it is a valuable degree considering that I would like to work for an international law firm or to have some "international flexibility" in my career. Is it better to apply for a GDL? Is it really impossible for a french student to get a training contract in england? Is it worth to do a LLM ? even as a complement?

Is there any possibility to find a job with a french degree and a LLM and what kind of Job? I know it is not a qualifying degree and a LLM does not allow me to work as a Lawyer but it is really worthless?
