Hi everyone.
My name is Mehmet. I am quite new here and writing from Turkey
I would like to know your thoughts about LL.M programmes in these universities.
I've graduated from Law School and just finished my internship. Now, I'm an official member of Istanbul Bar Association.
I always want to do LL.Mn therefore I've applied several LL.M programmes in the United Kingdom.
Now, i've got offers from Swansea University and Nottigham Trent University.
The LL.M programmes I've applied are Oil and Gas Law in SU and Oil, Gas and Mining Law in NTU.
Which university is better? I know both of them 2nd class universities however my gpa is not good enough for 1st class. I've read several bad and good comments in both university and can not decide yet. My concerns are reputation, education quality and academic achievements. I do not interested in other factors such as city life or something like that.
After completed my LL.M, I want persuade QTLS or Phd in the United Kingdom.
Thanks for reading. All the comments will be appreciated.
Swansea Uni. Versus Nottingham Trent Uni.

Swansea any day!
by the way I do not agree with the comment that ntu and Swansea are in the same league! ntu is a new university which was a technical university until recently. Swansea has a very good reputation in maritime law and their oil and gas seems to be an extension of that!

My experience was that Swansea was very well linked with legal practice- internships and job opportunities are often offered to LLm Swansea students! Also a dedicated LLM Fair is organised for students each year attracting several law firms and P & I clubs
