Swansea or Southampton University for Maritime Law?

Hi, everyone, I'm a undergraduate studying in Wuhan University of Technology, with my major of Marine Navigation Technology and minor of Law.Recently I've got offers from both Swansea and Southampton.

My personal career prospect is to become a maritime lawyer because I gave up the chance to be a seaman(although it may provides me a good salary, such as ¥40,0000 RMB after I become the third officer in ship.)I will return to China and get the Lawyer's Practicing Qualification Certificate after I got my Master's degree of Law. However I would like to pursue the chance to work abroad.

I have consulted my professor who has worked in ship for almost 10 years and he recommended me to study in Swansea because his classmates who works in Law Firm now are graduated from Swansea.Generally speaking,Southampton has Higher QS rank and everybody knows it, but I wonder if I can really get a job that relevant to the maritime law after graduate from Southampton. That's the most confusing thing for me.

By the way, does Swansea really offers a good opportunity for foreign student especially Chinese(because English is our second language)?I don't know much..

If anyone has suggestion I would be thankful.Thank you very much!

I am a Swansea graduate and in a very good job now! In my opinion Swansea is the best option for you! QS rankings in Law for both Schools is the same so why you looking at general University rankings in QS? Many of my class mates are in good jobs including Chinese friends! So go for it!
