Hi everybody, this is Vincenzo.
I'm going to submit several applications for my LLM, and as somebody already pointed out, I'll have the problem of sending a letter of recommendation of a Professor to different Universities. I think this can be sorted out, by sending the letter on a letterhead of the Professor, there shouldn't be a problem about that! But my question is: what about the language of the letter itself? I graduated in Italy and I guess Professors who are going to recommend me won't write a letter in English! Should I then translate what they write? How did it work for you?
ciao

Hello Vincenzo!
My professors wrote the references in German. I then translated the references into English, handed them back to the profs who read them through again and printed them on their respective letterheads.
So, no problem there, though I suppose you need to have profs who understand English well enough - they probably won't sign anything of which they don't know if it corresponds to their original text...
Good luck
Nicky
