Hi, I've been accepeted to QMUL for the LLM in Public International Law. I have accepted the offer but I'm not sure yet about attending in september. I'm still waiting for Chevening results in my country (I'm from Panama) and I have also been admitted to Essex for the LLM in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (which is more affordable if I dont get the scholarship and have to ask for a loan).
How good do you think is QMUL overall in the law field? and if i might ask, which is your chosen specialisation for the LLM?

In my case it was an extremely quick response. Less than two days after they received my papers!!! But I do have to say I applied in early november.

Well I applied in January and I got an offer after 1 week or so.
So it was pretty quick. But then there is no set pattern i guess.

I got an offer from Essex for General llm. And even i am confused about joining Queen Mary provided the cost and how much would it really add to my profile... in other words whether it will be worth the money spent. I also got an offer from Durham and Glasgow. What do you think about all of these?

Well i have applied for general llm. According to my research till now, QMUL has very good reputation internationally and also a student gets alot of opportunities when located in london. What are your views about this univ.? Also what would u choose between Durham Manchester Glasgow n QMUL

Hi all, i was just wondering if the acceptance of the offer would mean paying the fee straight away or if one can accept and then, for any reason, withdraw without any consequence. In my case, i d be waiting for LSE results, but those take like a month or more, whilst Queen Mary is way faster.

You can accept your place at QM as they do not ask for a deposit, whilst others like ucl kings etc want a deposit when you accept your place

You are not due to pay any deposit to Queen Mary. All payments are made after enrolment.

Hey Kim
I can tell yout it is not too late. I asked the responsible team at QMUL and KCL three weeks ago and both assured me it is not too late at all. No worries. But yes I recommend to apply now asap anyway.

it's never too late to apply for an LLM, unless it's in oxbridge.....the competition for places is not as fierce as is for the LLB, hence why most universities allow applications until late july....
