Hi,
I am currently coming toward the end of my LLM and I am considering undertaking a PhD next year and I have a few questions.
1. Do you think I am too late to apply this year? I am aware quite a few funding opportunities are closed. Other than that, does my late(ish) application count against me?
2. Regarding funding, could anybody shed any light, perhaps from past experience on what Law schools or exteranal funding bodies actually look for when awarding funding? For example if you recieve a first class honours in your masters and have bee published would that increase your chances significantly, or are there other factors to be considered?
I am intending to formulate a proposal around the area of EU competences / Federal Competences etc. I don't have a concrete idea for a research question yet.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
