Is an admission to Oxon's MJur or to Cam's LLM realistic having graduated within top 10% of class (respected continental law school) in combination with some years teaching experience, decent publications, working experience, finished PhD etc.?
Or is it still more a matter of luck?

Or is it still more a matter of luck?

I know that most users of this discussion board are currently dealing with the decision which law school's offer they should accept. For that reason my inquiry may be a little bit untimely. However, maybe someone can give me first-hand insights on my question. It would be really appreciated... Many thanks!

Dear Cedric,
Thank you so much! I REALLY appreciate your opinion.
According to some of your post on this board, you actually made it into Cambridge. Congrats - this is simply wonderful and you should have a great year in beautiful Cambridge.
Since you can assess this first hand: Are your credentials similar to mine or somewhere above?

No worries. Honestly, I think you will walk into Oxbridge. I think one couldn't ask for anything more in a profile.
It's hard to compare credentials. I think you have nothing to worry about and there is not much need to compare yourself.
Can I ask where u are from?

From Springfield, of course. (I've written you a PM...)

Ain't top 10% too little for Oxon--albeit in the light of my other credentials--or at least to be that optimistic?
