Hello,
I have recently graduated from law school (in Spain). I would like to specialize in maritime law, although for me the most important thing is the job opportunities (doing a master's degree is a big investment). My work experience in the maritime sector is almost null, as I only did an internship in maritime law for a few months.
I was thinking of applying to any of these three universities.
My intention is to get a job upon graduation. I am in doubt as to which one to go to.
Swansea University is the best there is in the field of maritime law.
On the other hand, QMUL and City University are in London, and I think london being a bigger city, I will have a better chance of getting a job related to law.
Also, I have been told that if I take a master's degree (non-maritime related) at a university such as KCL, I will have more job opportunities than studying a master's degree in maritime.
Could someone advice me?
Thank you!

Hi
I am a Swansea graduate BUT i must tell you that it is not the location that matters! It is what the University provides for you! I know London universities which provide no support to students and no opportunities to students. Swansea is a few hundred km away from London but we had 2 trips to London law firms/P&I clubs and Lloyd's organised by Swansea and regular speakers from London- see:
https://www.swansea.ac.uk/law/istl/llmemployabilityinitiativesandresults/
And a Mooting for LLM students organised by HFW!!!
So my honest advice, don't be fooled by the name and location!
