Hey guys.
I will go to LLM course for Maritime studies but i can't choose the school im really undecided.
Swansea University is looking good because of the letters on Internet but i don't know what i must do?
Now i'm looking two schools one of them is City University London and one of them is Swansea University. What do you think about school and general life about this? For example if i go to Wales am i boring for social life or anything?
And i will ask again second question. Swansea University have 2 course for Maritime Law.
One of them is Commercial and Maritime LAW so one of them is Maritime Law. What's the difference? I cant understand.
Here is the links;
International Commercial and Maritime : http://www.swansea.ac.uk/postgraduate/taught/law/llmininternationalcommercialandmaritimelaw/#key-features=is-expanded&entry-requirements=is-expanded
International Maritime:
http://www.swansea.ac.uk/postgraduate/taught/law/llmininternationalmaritimelaw/#entry-requirements=is-expanded&postgraduate-taught-experience-survey=is-collapsed
If you help me for this i'll very happy. Thanks for everything.
Regards

I strongly recommend Swansea! I did my degree there. It is a superb programme taught by master minds (just check the books written by the teaching staff at Swansea and you will see the difference)
Swansea is a lovely City- you can get anything you want- sports, surfing, night life, country walks etc (also much cheaper to live than London)
Commercial Maritime programme - well you have the option of studying commercial modules in addition to maritime ones
Maritime one- you study mainly maritime modules
I cannot praise it enough!

I do not know who told you that about Welsh language and Swansea but it is simply not true! 90 % people in Swansea cannot even speak Welsh! You will have no problem in that regard especially in the University. Yes there is a slightly different accent but that is true for any part of UK i.e. you can get Cockney accent in London!

I stayed in Beck House! It was great!
Swansea and Wales a very friendly City- you will enjoy it! And LLM teaching is first class with lots of practical elements in it!
You will like it!

So what you prefer me in first time? House or dormitory?
And which place is more luxury and safe in Swansea? Marine area? Right...?

Marina is great if you could afford it!!!
Each option has advantages and disadvantages:
dormitory can be noisy but you will have lots of classmates there so mor like a family
flat is comfortable but you might be lonely at times

Initially, I wanted to go for a Maritime LLM - the area is absolutely fascinating! Everyone recommended Swansea :) Plus Swansea is much cheaper than London, which is a factor you should take into account.
