For the folks on the waiting list, may I ask what specialism (if any), you applied for? I wonder if some are more competitive than others.

I just got waitlisted, my application was complete 27th January. Actually it was ready in early December but due to a reference it got completely delayed.
I applied for human rights specialism. With a high 2.1 LLB from a top ten uni, and work experience with NGOs, UN.
What influence does an acceptance by the second choice have?
oh also, what does the waitlist even mean? do they assess people on the waitlist against each other for the final spots or is it just a list of first come first serve?

Has anybody in the wait list got confirmed so far?....I have got unconditional offer from KCL....and need to send them my acceptance/rejection letter within 3 weeks....I hope before that i get some decision from LSE.

I doubt it as they say it will take 6 weeks before the application is even considered again.

I am asking cause i am waitlisted as well and am trying to figure out what are the actual chances of getting in after being placed on the bloody waiting list!!

I am going crazy too :) It's been about 8 weeks for me (despite the note that my file would be passed back to the selectors in 6 weeks) and still no news. If anybody has heard back after being waitlisted, please let those of us who are in agony know!!

hey , my app went complete end of Jan, got waitlisted about 3 weeks later in mid february and just got an unconditional offer on Friday..

I have a similar problem. Been waiting 8 weeks now.
I applied for the Corporate program, which is a less than stellar specialty right now and I may be better off not pursuing it. I'm lucky though because I already have an offer from Oxbridge and probably better off there.

LLM555, Hope for the best! Now am at least clear that I am going to Kings.
LSE, was bad miss but anyways, for myself, I always found the International Business Law module at Kings better than LSE. It would be a good experience to be taught by Tennekon...:)....
