LSE Labour Law - UCL International Labour Law

jim

Hello everyone. I am interested in Labour Law and have been accepted to both UCL and LSE. I have not made up my mind yet on which program I should choose and I was wondering whether anyone here has been a former student of UCL or LSE and chose on of the above mentioned specialisations and in that case if they were satisfied with their choice. All opinions on which program I should choose are welcome.

Hi,

Im really into Labour Law too - I would go to LSE - excellent Labour Law faculty - and history in Industrial Relations. Webbs, Kahn Frend, Hugh Collins etc.

I would go to LSE for sure.

Thank you for your answer GlasgowLaw. The truth is that LSE seems like a better choice to me too. I already hold a postgradute degree (LLM equivalent) in the field of Labour Law in my country and I would like to learn more about how Labour Law works in the Common Law countries.

Both are great places. You have the luxury of choosing between two very good options. I think LSE has more prestige and name-recognition in some parts of the world, if that is important to you, but considering which professors instruct where is obviously important. Reasonable people can differ on this.
