I've got an offer from the LSE and am still not sure wether to take it or not.

Does anbody know how long the LLM programm really lasts?
Is it possible to start a job in July 2007 if you finish the dissertation early? Or does it really take until the end of September?

I'll got to LSE too and I'd like to start working in July 08
I understood that the exams take place in June and only the dissertation will be in the fall so you don't have to attend classes during the summer.
So, it could work

Do you have to start writing the dissertation after the summer term? Or is is possible to start ealier and have it finished by then.

I saw that you should choose your dissertation until january and you'll present it in September. So nobody stops you to draft it until July, it's your personal work.
That is what I want to do, finish the dissertation at the end of June in order to be free during the summer for other projects.

Hey everyone, doing the LLM at LSE currently. The dissertation is due in August and you have exams in June. Most people do not start their dissertation till end of exams. Be warned...the LLM is very intensive and you have a lot of work all year round, so being realistic, it is unlikely that you will have finished your dissertation at the end of June. You could have started it, but I doubt you can do a good job by end of June.
