"I havent heard anything from them. Think they have forgotten me, or not. I applied rather late, 5. November. Is there anyone who applied that late who have heard anything?"
I have to correct myself: I submitted my application to LSE 21. November. And since Capa submitted his application 12. November and got his offer today, there is obviously some activity at the admissionoffice...

Way to go Capa!! Congratulations!
My '8 weeks' is up on friday (if you count the christmas holidays as part of it), so here's hoping. I really want LSE - it looks great.
Best of luck to everyone!!!!

Thanks, it was certainly an anxious wait but i'm happy I have offers now from all three. It was hard to "rank" them prior to these offers but now, being unbiased, I know LSE is probably the place to be for a London LLM.
Best wishes to everyone

I submitted my application on Nov. 28th, and I received a condition offer today :)
Probably all those submitted their application in that period will hear soon...

have been on the waiting for 6 weeks now. Somewhere it is said that it takes 6 weeks for the application to be reconsidered but somewhere it is said that it is 8 weeks. So I think that we have to wait little more. But honestly I thing that all those people who were not accepted were put on the waiting list. I wonder if someone´s application has been rejected...

Hello all,
I haven't even submitted my application yet, hope to submit it by the end of the week. Does anyone have an idea, how the chance are for someone applying so late? I looked up on the LSE homepage, where it says that they are still open for the LL.M....
Hope for all of you to get in and maybe see you someday...

Banker, I actually think they put on the waiting list the people that applied too early (however, we can always be rejected!)
My friend was put on the waiting list of another faculty and after six weeks she got an unconditional offer and a $10,000 merit award...

Yes, that's right, so just because it is taking longer than others doe snot mean anything.
My response took a while, but I got an unconditional offer + Merit Award so its all good! Chin up guys! :-)

just to update waitlisted people - today I was said by LSE that none of the waitlisted files have been returned for re-consideration yet.

I applied on November 29th (8 weeks yesterday!) and my application is still displaying 'under consideration by the department'! The wait is killing me! Does anyone think this means anything?
Congratulations to all those accepted, and best of luck to those on the waitlist.

I sent my app. on december 3rd and I was put on the waiting list today. That is probably because LSE thinks I'm not good enough to receive an offer and not bad enough to be rejected. It's a guess.
Posted Jan 25, 2008 17:44
yes, waitlist is alot more promising than rejection. if it was 'bad enough' to be rejected, they would have done so.

I have called UCL's admissions office today. They told me that at least with them you can always accept the offer and still decline it later on if you receive another (better) offer.

I have been accepted on the condition that I get at least a B-average, which I think it is not possible for me not to achieve, unless I fail my final thesis, which I won't.
I have received scholarships at Oxford and Fulbright, thought, so I think LSE will be plan C.

Thanks! I don't know whether I will be going to Oxford or to the U.S., I just know that I want to focus on interantional law.
