I applied for LSE's LLM program in late October and just got an email today informing me that I was placed on the waiting list.

Is there anyone who knows how likely it is for someone on the waiting list to receive an offer?

I got a waiting list email on 10 Jan and I just received an offer on 8 March. Hope this update helps you guys cuz I understand how upset  it was throughout the period without any update.

I saw your post in the LSE 2022-23 thread and I am literally in the same boat as you! Received my ID on 26th of Jan, been waitlisted today but have not received any email yet...Keep me posted if you'll have any updates! :)

Guys I just logged into my LSE for you tracker and before my status said that they have put me on a 'waiting list' but now when I've checked my application status the section is literally empty?? there is no text there anymore, has this happened to anyone else?

I have the same situation. I thought perhaps it meant that the waitlisted applicants were under reconsideration (although there was no preceding message about applications being sent back to the selectors). It might also just be a glitch. All one can do is speculate!

Yeah, it's either a glitch or we will get rejected or we will receive an email that our applications have been sent back to the selectors...

Hi there! I scheduled a Zoom call with the Grad Admissions Office last week and they indicated that it was just a system glitch (my application showed on their side as pending being sent back to the selectors, and I imagine yours would be in the same boat). It'll be five weeks tomorrow since being waitlisted, so we might have an answer in the next few weeks. I also queried what the interaction between the waitlist and the reserve list, ie. whether, given that the course is closed, the best case scenario for a waitlisted applicant would be to be added to the reserve list, or whether an immediate offer was a possible outcome. The response was that any of the following is possible: (i) immediate offer; (ii) rejection; (iii) added to the reserve list.

any update for you? It's been almost 2 weeks and my section is still empty, do you think that they have perhaps rejected us but the update for some reason has not gone through? I really don't know whether to call the graduate admissions office or not ;(
