Sorry to inform you that the London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) is NOT a University. This is purely private institution affiliated to some of the UK Universities and providing franchise courses. Thus, you will study at the LSBF but the degree will be awarded by the another University. I am not aware of its recognition and don't know how long it has been in existence but I presume it is a good institution because it is in the heart of London surrounded by major law firms, law Society, the Inns of Court and few minutes walk from the Royal Court of Justice. Don't prosecute me if my presumtion is scientifically proved to be incorrect. However, I believe it is a good institution! Good luck!!!

@ chopiny:
If you look at the LSBF's overall standing concerning the Msc in Finance etc., you can clearly see that its reputation is mediocre at best.
As previously mentioned, the London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) is no university of itself. Its programmes are validated, but the degrees are awarded by the University of East London (which does not seem like a plus) and the Grenoble Graduate School of Business.
It is also interesting that its acronym bears a close resemblance to the London Business School, which is regarded as a very prestigious business school and is part of the University of London system.
Maybe this statement in "The Student Room" sums it up best:
"I would stay well away. It uses its name to trick people into thinking it is LBS or an institution of high academic standing when it is neither. There are many places dotted all over London that do this to trick ignorant foreigners."
Having said that regarding the Msc in Finance, I would be even more critical towards an LL.M. degree offered by this institution. Be careful when deciding on what program to spend your hard earned money.
