Hi Everyone.
I am a final year LLB student in Sydney, Australia. I am about to choose my final year electives. Does anyone know whether the subjects that one takes in the LLB determine what subjects may be taken in the LLM (so for example, would one be able to do an LLM in international trade at LSE without having done International Trade in the LLB)? I would love to hear from those who have done something similar!
Thanks a lot
Andrea

With respect to Ox, my understanding from reading the prospectus is that although you don't need to have done, for example, restitution at an undergraduate level in order to do it at a postgraduate level, if you haven't studied it at an undergraduate level, they recommend you undertake your own private study of the unit before commencing it. In other words, no prerequisites, but if you know nothing about the unit, be warned, as it will be very difficult!
