LLM from Leeds or Nottingham - Sep 2021 Intake

Hi,

I have been accepted at both Nottingham and Leeds for LLM (International Trade Laws). Since I am not from the UK, I want to understand which of these has a better employer reputation in the UK. A QS article on top 10 UK universities in terms of employer reputation includes Leeds and does not mention Nottingham. However, I would want more realistic suggestions.

Also, I already have a 5 year work experience with PwC. Would that help my case in obtaining a job in the UK?

Hi there - 100% go to Nottingham (assuming it’s university of Nottingham we are talking about and not Nottingham Trent). They are on a completely different tier to Leeds, which in the U.K. is just seen as a party university. I would say Nottingham is a top 10 U.K. university, whilst Leeds doesn’t make it to the top 30.
As for job opportunities it depends on what else you have going for you and what you’re looking for, but I think it should be very employable given your work experience!

@LuLu100: Thank you for your response. It really helps. Yes, I had applied to the University of Nottingham and not Nottingham Trent. I read your comments on other posts as well and you seem to be highly experienced and very helpful. Would it be okay if I connected with your personally, in case I have other queries?
