I'm probably gonna be staying at Nido Kings Cross, an alternative accomodation. Its great but a tad expensive at £245 a week but its that or be on the wait list for UCL. Foreign students get preference. I recommend Astor College or John Dodgson House, both are pretty good.

Hows everyone doing with their preparation? I guess most of you are coming from abroad. Have people applied for their housing? I'm doing Law and Economics next year.

Hi!
I have a conditional offer for criminal law from UCL too but I'm a little bit confused about choosing KCL or UCL. Do you have any proposals about this?

I have been pondering over how i will make the same decision myself. What I have come to learn is that both are extremely good universities.Dont go by what the different ratings say because your decision should be made on how good your course is and what it offers.Look up who your professors are and their qualifications. Also try talk to students doing your course and ask them about the professors.Dont make the mistake of asking then which University to choose. All UCL students say that their university is the best and students from Kings rave about theirs. So it finally comes down to which course you think is better for you.

UCL is better in Banking,International law...
UCL is still better in Financial law unless you want to study International Tax.. as UCL has no Tax option.. i believe that KCL is better option only in this case...
By the way,UCL is in top 5 from last 15 years ranking, except this year (2009) ranking ( ranked 5th, after Kings).. in terms of law firms in UK,UCL is still a better name...
Kings is the best in social life, student satisfaction and have better name as a international brand ( except EU).... but in terms of studies and professors... UCL is ahead....

I would think UCL has a better social life thank King's.

I think King's has a better brand name in France and Germany. Both colleges have great professors, really depends on your subjects.
