Just try to be very specific about why you really want to pursue an LLM at LSE and also why you think you are THE ONE. That is, that you have to convince them why you are the best candidate to study at their university.
I just received today my password to track my application online. It says they received all my supporting documents and my application form and they are considering my application. Let's see what happens. :)

Dear everyone,
I sent my application to LSE two days ago. My professor sent the reference letter 15 days ago by fax and post. On my on-line account the reference letter of my professor is still considered as not submitted. I start to be quite worried. Do you think they will associate the letter of my professor to my account while sending me the user and password? Anyone else in the same situation?
Thanks.

Hi there. Dont worry I read that they are revising today all documents sent by post. You can see that on Current Processing Dates.
It reads as follows:
6th November - We are currently processing documents (this includes degree, English and GRE/GMAT results) received by post, fax and online.
Regards :o)

Hey all
I'm from Australia. I submitted my application form to LSE yesterday and my referees have submitted their references so now I guess it's just a matter of crossing my fingers and waiting...

yah!! its kind of making me crazy..
looking at the lse for you 10 times a day isnt insane behaviour. is it?
normally, they might take up 8 weeks (that makes it january) but might reply earlier or later depending upon the rush and the competition.
by the way, where did u study law? country n university.. just out of curiosity!!!
best of luck to all

I graduated in Panama (Central America) last year november.

Are you from Panama, originally?
well, i am, seems to me that Panamanians tend to go for Law. I have been researching the web for Law degrees, LLM, vs JD, Int'l Law Degree, &c, and have found many Panamanians posting queries about the technicalities and processes of this complex degrees.
my question for you, where did you do the LSAT, in Panama?
i must sit my test next year, and have to get details of where can i do the testing.
regards,
LR.

hey Naz,
I also applied for LLM in International Business Law at LSE. Good luck to the both of us! I also did a personal statement. What do you think is LSE looking for in a personal statement, in relation to the specialism of ones choice? Personal statements websites say that personal statements will help if one does not have good grades.
Do you have any idea how long LSEa sends reply to an application?

Hi CalculusLaw,
I was told by my academic advisor at university that the personal statement is my only opportunity to sell myself to the selectors at LSE! Thus, I tried to focus in it on my academic background. However, it seems to me that grades and letter of reference are more important to LSE. If you have 2:1 grades, then you stand a chance of competing for a place.
For the issue of decisions, LSE has a 6-8 week policy. First decisions will be make in January I was told.
You have to bear in mind the 2 week Christmas break. So I assume anyone who applies now should recieve a reply before the end of January/beginning of Febuary. My application was completed yesterday and forwarded to the Department of Law.
I really hope that I am successful in my application. As strange at It may seem, I have only made one application
for LLM, i.e. to LSE, and am not willing to go anywhere else for the LLM in the UK except to LSE.
All the best with your application. By the way, I am in my final year of studies in Scotland, What about you??

Hi Naz,
Thanks you for your reply.
I have been a practicing lawyer for 5 years now. I am also submitting an application to UCL 's LLM in Corporate Bankruptcy. The focus of my practice is more on bank insolvency. I am more inclined to go to UCL, since I don't see any LLM in Insolvency or bankruptcy in the the LSE prospectus (M I correct?). If I get accepted to both, I'll choose UCL.If not, Ill settle with LSE.
Gook luck Naz.
