Hey,
I am currently calculating my budget for an LL.M./MJur at Oxford, Cambridge or LSE. Fees are easy to figure out, but I find it somewhat hard to estimate living expenses since the information differ from source to source.
Are the numbers on the Oxford website realistic?http://www.ox.ac.uk/feesandfunding/fees/livingcosts/graduates/
Is London more expensive than Oxbridge. What is a reasonable amount for living expenses. 14000 Euros, 18000 Euros?
Thanks a lot guys!

I was more or less calculating the same. Do you guys think it's possible to find a part-time job in order to support yourself while working?
Somebody who has already done this can maybe clear that out?

I would say the stated Oxford expenses are probably 1000-2000 too low (especially in the food department). Unfortunately, it's not really possible - under University rules or practically - to hold a part-time job during the BCL/Mjur.
All the best,
Paddy

I'm in London at the moment. Save more or less 1,500 to cover for initial one-off expenses (books, clothes, bedding, toiletries, notebook - if you haven't got one, which was my case - and other things you may need to equip you flat with). After that, I'd say that 500 pounds (not taking accommodation into account) a month is a fair amount. But it all depend on they way you live your life... I must say that I'm expending a little more than I'd first anticipated... but still inside the initial budget I'd envisaged. But you've got to budget for accommodation as well... I paid (more or less) 7,500 quid for 51 weeks (private hall). If you get university accommodation you may spend less than that...

Beicon, which hall did you end up in eventually? Are you happy with your choice? If Unite's hall let me know what the drawbacks are - I'll let the managers dealing with this investment know, good for the future
