King's College-Submission of documents

dare.devil

Hi,
I completed the online application form for King's College, London around a week back. I wanted to know, whether like LSE and QMUL, we need to courier the documents uploaded by us during the online application process to King's, or not?

Thanks.

Is that true that I need post my documents to QMUL? I have just applied and have not read any about it. Is it the same about LSE?

LSE most definitely requires you to submit all supporting documents by courier/post. QMUL will send you an email, and the funny thing is, it was only after they received my courier did I get a confirmation email from them stating that they had commenced processing my application. Now, does anyone have any clue whether King's requires submission of supporting documents by courier/post?

Also, LSE requires the referees to submit an online form emailed to them in order for the application to be considered complete. Do KCL,UCL,QMUL and TCD have similar requirements? As in do they also mail the referees ( requiring them to fill up and re-submit an online feedback form)? Or just submitting a soft and hard copy of the letter of recommendation will suffice?
Thanks.

I´ve applied to KCL and it isn´t necessary to post your references to London. QMUL is the same.

If you (and your referees) submitted soft copies of supporting documents (reference letter) through the online application system, I don't think you need to post hard copies to LSE and, for that matter, Oxbridge. However I maybe wrong. Please share with us the link/source that shows hard copies are in fact needed. Thanks.

I received a mail stating that I should submit all my hard copies my courier/post. For LSE of course. QMUL i just followed the drill. KCL specifically stated that I didn't have to submit any hard copies. That's all the info I have. I'm guessing you guys don't have to submit hard copies unless you receive a mail from LSE specifically stating so.

Hello Everybody:
I`m planning to apply this year as well to KCL,QM, Edimburgh, and Kent, but I have some questions about the Personal Statement. For example, how long the PS must be?. My current PS has 2 pages it is ok? what do you think?. I really appreciate your help, I`m very concern about the extension of the PS for KCL and QM.

Thanks in advance.

If you're going to apply online, you'll see that for KCL and QM there's a strict limit for the PS. I'm not quite sure now, but I think it's around 400 words. Start an online application and will see the limit. Two pages, for KCL and QM, is too big.
