Hi, I received an offer from KCL for their LLM programme. Is there a whatsapp group for offer holders?

I applied during end of Feb and I haven’t heard back. I haven’t contact the office atm.

Hi, just for timeline estimation when to wait when to let go, would you mind sharing when is the deadline for you to accept the offer and deadline to pay deposit and get the CAS for student visa? thanks

Hi! I applied on 16th Feb and then contacted the admissions team through the King's Apply portal regarding the status of my application on 8th April. I received the offer the same day. You should reach out via the portal and they'll get back to you.

Yes, I received a message yesterday that my application was considered strong enough to continue to hold. Don’t know what to think about that, but I guess that they are waiting to see how many already granted offers will be accepted. Apparently, they expect to provide me with a decision by the end of June which is a bit late. Have you received any further updates on your wait position?

Yes, I received a message yesterday that my application was considered strong enough to continue to hold. Don't worry if you get in or not. Keep your options open, I know people that did their LLM in KCL.

They expressed concerns with the admin system (conflicing lectures and tutorials) , lecturers going on strike leading to no lectures, rules that state that you can't question the merit of the examiner judgement ( that means once you get your grades then you can't challenge it and you're stuck with it. In simple words, at the mercy of the lecturers) So people have got into tricky situations because of it, significant delays in releasing results because the lecturer/examiners went striking (basically holding student grades hostage to meet their demands) and a whole list more. No one tells you this in any of these posts. It might be good to validate these claims with research and look at things holistically. So don't worry and look at your options holistically and not just the prestige of the University. Because ultimately your knowledge and skills predominately matters for employment at the masters stage than the University's prestige.
