KCL Applicants 2014/2015

Hi everyone,
got my admission last friday at 8 pm ! I was thrilled !
Anybody admitted and thinking of doing International Finance ?
:D Congrats to everyone anyway !
Are some of you hesitating between US and UK LLMs just like me?
Ive applied to top US schools and I realize Im not keen on paying so expensive tuition fees after all, without having been granted scholarships... Is there anybody here in the same situation ? If so, what are you guys gonna do ?
I think London is quite a good location for what I want to specialize in: finance. Im considering applying to Oxford MLF next year also... What do you think will weight more for Oxford, UK or US ? Nobody of the MLF class this year comes from Kings... Many have LLM in the US. Is that a clue ? Thanks :)

I've onlky applied to UK. USA is much more expensive and, besides that, UK is UK and is in Europe :)

Besides that, two colleagues from my Law Firm have studied at King's College and they gave me a great feedback.

Guys I have a question:

Have you checked he status of your documents and references you submitted? The transcripts from my graduate studies have not been reviewed (or at least it says so on the application tracker), only my undergrad, and I got an unconditional offer... this seems strange... just wanted to check if anyone else had the same situation...

I have the same problem with regard to my graduate transcript, even though I have received an offer. Don't worry, you are in :)

Still nothing on their website about how to apply for the LLM Scholarships!

Anyone else with an offer eagerly awaiting this information? :)

Information on how to apply for scholarships is now available on the website, if anyone cares - this thread seems rather dead.

Unfortunately you need to have firmly accepted your offer to be able to apply for a scholarship, which means you must have paid the £500 deposit. That counts me out so I've withdrawn my app. I would have picked KCL + Scholarship over UCL/Cam/Ox without Scholarship but not if it means gambling £500 to find out....

Umm that is exactly my problem too actually. I have to pay 2000 (as in international student).

Hi All,

I submitted my application 10 days ago. My application status is "received and being processed". Does anyone know what does it mean? I wonder "being processed " is rejection as I read from ucl's disscussion board.

Mine was "received and being process" and I got a conditional offer four weeks after I applied. I applied the last week in January.

I got conditional offer from QMUL and UCL. However UCL application waits second reference letter. Actually I do not hope receive offer from UCL. Because it is too late.

How can you apply? Is that what you meant to ask? If so, make an account here:

https://myapplication.kcl.ac.uk/Registration.aspx?reqID=N

and then follow the steps.

Hey everyone!
Do you know if they are still giving any offers? I send my application like a week ago but I was already hesitating then. I think the programme might be full by now.

I sent my application two weeks ago but my references were submitted on 28 March. Got an offer yesterday.
I think they still have places and they will consider your application as long as you applied within the deadline

Hey guys,
I was just wondering about accommodation.. Is anyone considering private student halls? As I've never lived in a big city before they seem a "safer" option than private sector accommodation..
Any thoughts on that?
