Im doing my master 2 at La Sorbonne University and received offers for commercial law at King's, Aberdeen, Nottigham, and Birmigham in September.
As these offers took into considerations the not superb grades I had last year, I am considering postponing the LLm for one year so I can apply again and get maybe UCL or Edimbourgh thank to the grades of my ongoing Master 2, which should hopefully grant me the honors.
Is the difference so big between the Universities that already accepted me and the ones I plan to apply to (Edimb. and UCL mainly) that it makes sense to waste a year...?
Does a diploma from a 2nd choice University really make a difference compared with a diploma from a 3rd choice University?
