I suppose that you have a civil law background.
You should be aware that It's very hard to find something as a civil lawyer holding just an LLM, my advice is to seek something as a paralegal.
Unless, think about re-qualyfing as a common-law lawyer, you know GDL and then LPC, if you're lucky with a training contract.
good luck

ur best option is definitely an LPC course, although u cud also do the BVC and qualify as a barrister, but u wud find it almost find it almost impossible to find work in chambers(pupillage)... major reasons being tht ur an international student and well chambers do tend to have a very STRONG bias towards the top five universities, although some of my friends from the top 5 are also unemployed... however the visa is not an issue... if ur not aware of it... then there has been a change in the UK legislation which means tht anyone who is not an EU citizen can get an automatic work permit after completing an undergrad/postgrad and u fulfill ur requirement by doing an LLM.... u just have to pay a fee and get ur work permit from the home office... its a one year work permit... u can also pursue other options such as in banks, multinational, paralegal work, recruitement agencies, etc etc.... GOOD LUCK!
