Great Law Universities in the UK

Hi there,
Presently I'm a student in the University of Puerto Rico working on bachelor's degree in accounting. My main goal is to become an attorney, but since I needed a bachelor's degree in order to enter Law School I started with accounting. One thing that attracted me here is that I love the UK and would love to visit it someday. Then again is I could start my Law studies there it would be great. I'm asking for help in order to find a great university the field of law where I can study. I do not think I'm asking for much since it should not take too much time, so if anyone can help me with that I would be very thankful.

You are asking for too much actually by asking people to identify for you a university to study law in. The normal way of doing things is that the student identifies the university themselves and then others can give you an opinion about it. I suggest you resort to google that has a ranking of top universities in law and then you can visit their individual pages and you will find all the information you need about admission.

Also, this is the LLM Guide meaning that the information here relates to admission for masters in law or PHD in law. There is no information on admissions for undergraduates so you are better off visiting Student Forum or undergraduate forums where you will be best helped.

Also, most British universities offer direct entry into a first law degree. Students there will enter the LLB program (3 years) straight out of high school. If you already have a degree from Puerto Rico, you would be a few years older than your classmates. An American JD would probably make more sense for you...You can always do an LLM (and even PhD) in the UK after your JD. I would also take the previous poster's advice and get busy reading up on the different programs in the UK.
